Ascalon/Knight Armor and Absorb Runes
Ok, now that we have to have each piece to reduce the damage for the specific areas, do you think the absorb runes work that way too now? Since each part of the body would have a damage reduction of 3 if wearing all pieces, would applying a superior absorb rune make it -6 per area?
Do you think this is why the Superior Absorb rune never had the "(non-stacking)" on the rune? If this is unclear.. I'll try and clarify tomorrow o_o I'm tired. |

Runes are unchanged EXCEPT they affect only physical damage. The armors Absorbtion no longer mimics the runes. It now reduces only if its piece getting hit.

Does applying 1 superiour rune of protection reduce damage by 3 globally, or only for the applied piece? |

1. armor absorbtion only applies to physical damage that hits that region.
2. rune absorbtion is physical damage only 3. rune absorbtion is GLOBAL ie it doesn;'t matter which armor piece you put the rune of absorbtion in, you will still receive -1, -2 or -3 damage (depending on whether you have minor, major or sup rune) to all physical damage you take.. no matter which region gets hit by the physical damage. ie. put sup rune in your boot (-3 physical damage) and then get wacked on the head with physical damage and that damage will get reduced by 3. |
